Arsenic detection device reagent kit in water

Scope of Application This method is suitable for on-site rapid detection of arsenic in water or urine. It also has certain reference value for the detection of arsenic in food.

Method Principle This method uses reagents to reduce high valent arsenic to trivalent arsenic. Trivalent arsenic combines with hydrogen in the gas production tablet to form hydrogen arsenide. Hydrogen arsenide encounters mercury bromide test paper to produce color spots, which are quantitatively compared with the control color card.

Method Steps Refer to video operation

1) Take an appropriate amount of test cotton and insert it into the hole at the bottom of the plug;

2) Take out one piece of test paper, gently shake it dry in the air, place it on the circular hole on the upper end of the plug, close the cover, and hear a clicking sound;

3) Take 50mL of the sample solution into a triangular flask, add two spoons of arsenic detection reagent, add a gas producing tablet, and immediately insert the prepared arsenic detection stopper into the mouth of the triangular flask;

4) After 30 minutes, take out the test strip and compare it with the control color card for quantification.

Precautions

1) This method is a rapid on-site detection method, and accurate quantification should be based on the national standard method.

2) Wear gloves and glasses during operation. Avoid contact with children.

Device Configuration One bottle of arsenic testing paper, one bottle of arsenic testing reagent, and one bottle of gas producing tablets, one bag of cotton for testing, one medicine spoon, one triangular bottle, one folding stopper, tweezers, and one control color card.
